Jennifer brings over 20 years of experience in the performing arts to The Actors’ Scene. Over the course of her time in “the biz,”she has received training from renowned acting coaches and countless auditions from Atlanta to L.A., and she has had the privilege of acting along side several Hollywood stars.

After starting out as a young child in community theatre productions and semi-professional touring groups with her family, she was soon on the books of many top Atlanta acting agents and managers. Through her various opportunities to audition for well-known movie roles, she discovered a raw talent and God-given passion for film acting. She landed roles in Colombia Pictures’, “The Prince of Tides,” with Nick Nolte and Barbra Streisand and CBS’s, “Murder in New Hampshire,” with Helen Hunt and Chad Allen.

Despite her love of acting behind the camera, Jennifer continued to perform on stage professionally in productions at the Alliance Theatre, Fox Theatre, and The Punchline among others. Jennifer’s well-rounded experience also includes TV commercials and industrials. Since coming to work at The Actor’s Scene, she has developed a new passion for motivating and inspiring young actors to perfect their craft and pursue their own passion for acting.

Elizabeth

Elizabeth Alcarez

Elizabeth has been a performer as far back as she can remember. Beginning at the age of 3, she began dancing with the 'En Pointe Dance Company' based out of Atlanta and went on to perform and compete with the company professionally at the age of 5. During that same year, Elizabeth began doing stage work with local churches and Community Theatres.

Opting out of public school until later on, her mother decided to put Elizabeth's love for dancing and acting first, and everything else came second. The freedom of being homeschooled, along with a supportive family gave her the motivation to take her talents far.

Along with countless stage productions through churches, acting troups, community theatre, and schools; Elizabeth has appeared in two independant films, giving her a chance to test the waters of camera and voice-over work. She even recieved the opportunity to perform for over 26,000 people as a star in the production "Made Real" in 2005 at the Tennessee Stadium.

Although Elizabeth spent two years studying Theatre at Gainesville College and Breneau University with The North GA Theatre Alliance, Elizabeth felt most at home with The Actor's Scene.

As one of the first students, waayy back in 2004, Elizabeth has grown the most in the creative environment that Nicolle has provided with her studio. Now, as a coach, Elizabeth hopes to use her experience and her passion to pass that same energy on to her students. Inspiring them to step out of their comfort zones and reach for the stars.

Along with teaching classes, Elizabeth is also involved with Marketing for the school, and enjoys all the new challenges The Actor's Scene throws her.
