Showcases
Each year, all the programs end in a showcase where students perform various pieces and show off the skills they have learned throughout the year. As a special privilege for the advanced actors and singers, local agents will be invited to view their performances at the showcases. All students are encouraged to perform at the showcase and performances for basic and intermediate students will determine whether they move up to the next level of program. *Showcase fee: $50 |

International Competitions
Twice a year The Actor’s Scene attends a national acting, singing and dancing competition in Orlando. The Actor Model Talent Competition or AMTC is a prestigious international competition that attracts schools from all over the US, Canada, Puerto Rico and Scotland to compete for top honors, awards and big name agency representation for competitors.
Agents, Managers, Casting Directors, and Record Label Representatives travel from all over the world: LA, NYC, Paris, Milan, Tokyo, London, South Africa to attend the event and scout for new faces for representation. Big names have been discovered at these events: Mena Suvari (American Pie), Mitch Holleman (WB’s Rita), Matt Zuchary (Gilmore Girls), Ashley Scott (Jericho), Randell Bentley (Heros) plus many more.
The Actor’s Scene holds auditions for this competition every Feb and September & is open to everyone of all ages regardless of experience. |
